Regular meetings of The Celiac Sprue Association / United States of America, Inc. (CSA/USA) Chapter 4, serving the Greater Kansas City area, take place on the second Sunday of every month from 2–4 PM at the Community Center Building, Building D, of the St. Joseph Health Center. The Health Center is located in south Kansas City near I-435 and the Missouri/Kansas state line.

Meetings are especially valuable for those who are newly diagnosed with Celiac Disease and their families.

| May 19, 2013 | Gluten-Free Restaurant Gathering — Fortune Wok, 14537 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS at 2:00 pm. In lieu of our monthly meeting, join our group for delicious gluten-free Chinese food and great conversation. The menu includes chicken lettuce wraps, chicken corn soup, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour shrimp, pork chow fun, and tea or coffee. The cost is $18, including tax and tip. For children age 11 and under, the cost is $9. Other drinks will be an additional charge. To make your reservation, please send a check made out to “Fortune Wok” to Dean Cling, 1911 W. 139th Street, Leawood, KS 66224, postmarked no later than May 10. Along with your check, please indicate the number of people in your party in the age 12 and over group and the number age 11 and under. Hi. Another thought. I bought a magnetic ribbon from the celiaccenter.org for my car that I bought during the vendors fair Sunday. But I would rather have one from the local organization. Any chance of that happening?
