Regular meetings of The Kansas City Chapter of the Celiac Sprue Association take place on the second Sunday of every month from 2:30–3:30 PM at the Community Center Building, Building D, of the St. Joseph Health Center. The Health Center is located in south Kansas City near I-435 and the Missouri/Kansas state line. We do not meet in May as the second Sunday is Mother’s Day.
Our group is FREE to all guests. We welcome people with celiac, gluten intolerance, those on a gluten free lifestyle, and friends and family members. We run our organization with donations and fundraisers. Our current fundraiser is a “The Body on Gluten” poster hand drawn by one of our members. A small poster (11 x 17″) is $10, a medium poster (18 x 24″) is $15, and a large poster (24 x 36″) is $20.
We are currently setting up our annual Gluten Free Vendor Fair for Sunday, April 12th, 2015. We still have a couple of booth spots available at this time. If you are a vendor and would like to rent a booth for our fair you can download the Vendor Forms and mail them to our President. You can view and print the 2015 Vendor Fair Booth Application and Information.
Members and guests please feel free to download our Gluten Free Vendor Fair Flyer to post in your local coffee shop, grocery store, church, library, and give to your doctors & chiropractors to help spread the word for our fair.
